Always appreciated this company. Once when they were physically not able to come out, they helped me troubleshoot my issue and solve it over the phone. Gail is always great on the phone. Today Carl came out and did a quick and efficient fix on a small problem for a fair price. He was very professional, punctual, and friendly. Although their website looks fancy, they seem happy to do small jobs too. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Several weeks ago during the peak of the Covid crisis, I arrived home to find no power on my second floor. Working long hours in health care, I was not able to address the issue until the weekend. A friend shared with me that Miller & Miller was recommended on her Next Door communications. So glad that I received this advisement! I spoke with Dale, one of the owners, on a Saturday and he spent extensive time with me walking through troubleshooting steps until my problem was resolved. Dale would not accept my monetary offer and was truly relieved that I was able to resolve my problem. This is a family owned business which obviously upholds the values of customer service and care. I will definitely use Miller & Miller for any future need and plan to spread this news to others of their exceptional knowledge and service.

Friendly and trustworthy
I was really impressed with Carl. I had a burned up outlet and then a couple of random things I wanted to have looked at. Carl was efficient and worked quickly, but gave me options and explained things well. He clearly knows his stuff. He replaced my destroyed outlet and installed a security camera I had been waffling on how to best get hooked up.
I also have an oddly-placed outlet in the kitchen that requires me to unplug the microwave and toaster because we can really only access one plug at a time. I was toying with getting it replaced or getting another outlet because it’s so irritating, but I wasn’t sure it would be worth the cost. Carl helpfully suggested a simple fix: flip the outlet so the ground pin portion would be on the top, thereby allowing me to leave the microwave plugged in at the same time as the toaster. It was so simple and quick, yet I had never thought of it nor would I have attempted it if I had come up with it. It would have been an easy upsell for him to get me to install a new outlet or something, but I truly appreciated his integrity at the simple suggestion.
He was friendly and trustworthy and I didn’t feel weird being at home alone with him (which is not always the case with service providers). Will definitely be relying on this company in the future for residential electrician needs (unfortunately, they don’t do commercial, which I found out when I was asking about some needs at my office). ~ Crystal W., Google Review, March 2019

Altogether a very positive experience.
Our call to Miller & Miller came due to a circuit breaker that wouldn’t reset. I had given it my best “Johnny Homemaker” try at diagnosis & fixing but no luck. On the phone call, the owner was up front about the rate and rough time estimate.
Senior technician Joe arrived on time and was most pleasant and personable to deal with. He was comfortable working on his own or answering questions. Very methodical also. These folks were 5 stars from the very start. I located them on Angie’s List and my initial call was received by a friendly person (Gail) willing to help. Meeting my needs was everyone’s concern. An appointment was made in a timely manner, the electrician (Joe) called when he said he’d call and was on time for the appointment. He did the necessary troubleshooting and repair in a reasonable time frame, keeping me apprised of what he was doing during that time. Again, another pleasant, competent person. We are very pleased with the work Dale and his crew have done for us and would definitely recommend them to others.
Miller and Miller have done multiple jobs for us. The first one in September 2015 was an extensive renovation of our older home to replace the existing 200 amp service to 400 amp service in order to install a charger in the garage for an electric vehicle. They also traced out, arranged and labeled all the circuits on the panel so we now know where everything is. This required a completely new breaker panel to be added, extensive rewiring, new GFI’s added, etc. With this project, they worked closely with the power company and the local town inspectors to coordinate burying the cable and ensuring all phases of the project were completed on schedule. They also just finished a project to install new recessed lighting in our kitchen and den.

Dale gave us the initial estimate on the work. He spent a good amount of time discussing the different options and the layout at our home. Dale & Gail then had us to the office to discuss the types of lighting, layout and cost. The initial discussions were very thorough and helpful.
